U.S. President Joe Biden on Monday held Oval Office talks with Jordan's King Abdullah.
Biden said that the U.S. will always stand by Jordan, adding that Washington will continue strengthening cooperation with Jordan.
Biden said that “We’ve been hanging out together for a long time,” Biden said as the two leaders sat in the Oval Office together ahead of their bilateral meeting. King Abdullah, who was accompanied by his eldest son, Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, noted that he “had the privilege of knowing you with my father decades ago.”
His Majesty said that he is glad to meet Biden, stressing the fight against COVID-19.
King Abdullah also thanked the U.S. on granting Jordan anti-COVID vaccines.
