Instructions to stimulate industrial sector's exports enhance competitiveness-Minister
Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Maha Ali, said the amended instructions to stimulate Jordan's industrial sector's exports aim to facilitate industrialist-oriented procedures and integrate export data detailing the related incentive mechanism.
The minister, in a press statement on Sunday, added that stimulating exports of the industrial activities comes within the framework of the government's efforts to enhance the industrial sector's competitiveness, increase its exports to various markets and maximize benefits from the free trade agreements signed by Jordan, bilaterally or multilaterally.
The minister indicated that the number of companies that benefited from the industrial activities export stimulus program reached 12, while 60 businesses applied to calculate the added value for the stimulus package.
The government, within the stimulus measures approved by it in April 2021, allocated an amount of JD10 million to spur the industrial sector, according to the minister.
