With the condition of registering on the gov't Visit Jordan e-platform, Ministry of Interior announced an increase in the number of passengers allowed to enter the Kingdom through Al-Omari Border Crossing to 2,000 travelers per day instead of 1,000, as of Sunday, 18th of July.
The ministry, in a press statement issued on Sunday, said this procedure aims to provide the necessary facilitations for Jordanian citizens arriving to the Kingdom to spend Eid al-Adha vacation, as well as Arab nationals from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries wishing to visit Jordan.
Earlier, the government allowed fully vaccinated passengers to enter the Kingdom through Omari Border Crossing without registering on the land e-platform, according to the statement.
