The number of individuals and establishments fined for failing to comply with defense orders and anti-Covid-19 health preventive requirements stood at 470 since the the beginning of July, 2021, according to a statement issued by Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, on Sunday.
The ministry said 48 facilities were fined for failing to adhere to the work protocol, while 24 businesses received fines for working without license, adding that 266 workers received violation tickets for non-compliance with health protocol that calls for physical distancing and facemask-wearing.
In addition, 80 establishments received fines for failing to hire a health monitor, 35 shops were fined for serving hookah in closed halls, while 6 trade centers were delivered violation tickets for failing to display guidance panels, said the statement.
According to the statement, the monitoring authorities visited 35,151 facilities countrywide during July.
