Director of Jerash Public Hospital Sadeq al-Otoum, on Friday, said that thirteen persons were admitted to the hospital after being chemically poisoned due to swimming in a pool in the governorate of Jerash.
The reason behind the incident, al-Otoum added, that the swimming pool contained high amounts of chlorine used to sterilize swimming pool water.
Five persons were discharged from the hospital, where eight still under treatment, al-Otoum said.
