CSCC slashes prices of 290 commodities in its markets countrywide
The Civil Service Consumer Corporation (CSCC) has cut prices of more than 290 essential commodities as part of its promotional campaign that begins on Thursday and will continue until the end of July.
The CSCC Director General, Salman Qudah, said the reduced rate on goods ranged between 7 to 35 percent.
Qudah, in a press statement on Wednesday, added that the price reductions continue the CSCC's policy to alleviate the citizens' burdens, especially those with low and medium incomes, and protect the public from soaring prices.
All goods are available in 'large' quantities in all the CSCC' 67 markets countrywide, he noted, calling on citizens to visit the corporation's Facebook page to view details of the discounted items.
Qudah confirmed that all the discounted goods passed the necessary lab tests and health requirements before hitting its shelfs.
To ensure the citizens' safety, Qudah called on the CSCC's shoppers to adhere to preventive and public safety measures to curb Covid-19 spread.
