The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Thursday dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the JHCO said the convoy comprises 16 trucks carrying medicines, medical supplies, baby formula, food parcels and relief aid to be delivered to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the Social Development Department and medical complexes in Gaza.
JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli stressed that the convoy came in implementation of the royal directives to meet the humanitarian needs in the Palestinian territories, adding that the organization, in coordination with the JAF, dispatched a total of 8 convoys with 67 trucks to the West Bank, Jerusalem and the coastal enclave.
