Mamon Al-Adwan - Jordan Minister of Health, Firas Hawari expected a rise in the number of COVID-19 infections during the coming days, calling citizens to adhere to health and safety measures against the corona virus especially during Eid Al-Adha.
Hawari said in a press release after a visit to Amman field hospital that 85% of the cases that admitted to hospitals yesterday have not received the vaccine or received the first jab only.
The minister added that Jordan faces a new wave of COVID-19, stressing that controlling the wave will be bound to health capacities and the commitment of citizens.
