UAE bans travel from Indonesia, Afghanistan due to Covid-19
The United Arab Emirates said Saturday it will ban its citizens from traveling to Indonesia and Afghanistan, starting tomorrow, and also suspend all national carrier and commercial flights from the two countries as part of measures to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority said in a joint press release that the ban on the entry of travelers from Indonesia and Afghanistan on all flights starts at 11:59 pm on Sunday.
The decision excluded diplomatic missions and official delegations.
