KHCC launches campaign to support Gaza cancer patients
The King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) launched a campaign to support cancer patients in the Gaza Strip, dubbed :'Your Support is Life', after the recent Israeli aggression on the coastal enclave, which caused a shortage of medicines due to Israel's strict restrictions on Gazans.
In a press statement on Thursday, the KHCC said 83 patients are on the waiting lists of charity funds, which provide the opportunity for comprehensive treatment for underprivileged patients at the center.
The KHCC's Director General, Nisreen Katamesh, said Gaza cancer patients today suffer from a double burden due to the Israeli-imposed siege, which requires offering comprehensive treatment from this deadly disease.
