The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Tuesday condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a checkpoint in the southern Libyan city of Sebha Monday evening, which left two officers dead, and four others injured.
In a statement, the ministry reaffirmed Jordan's strong condemnation of 'this cowardly terrorist act' that aims to undermine security and stability and contravenes all religious and human values.
It reiterated the Kingdom's rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, regardless of their motives and reasons.
The ministry also expressed the Kingdom's condolences to the government and people of Libya and to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
