Arab Parliament demands international protection for Palestinian people
The Arab Parliament called on the international community to assume its responsibilities to resolve the Arab-Israeli conflict in accordance with the principle of the two-state solution, leading to the restoration of the full rights of the Palestinian people, primarily the right of return and self-determination, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the pre-June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The Arab Parliament called on parliaments and unions of the world to support the rights of the Palestinian people, who are still subject to Israeli, settler-colonial occupation, practicing the most heinous crimes such as killing, arresting, and ethnic cleansing, and violating all relevant international legitimacy resolutions, according to a parliament statement on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the an-Naksah.
It stressed the need to end the Palestinian division and restore national unity as a main entry point to confront annexation plans and organized colonial policies and end the occupation.
