Jordan on Saturday registered 7 COVID-19 related deaths and 304 new infections, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 739,319, the Health Ministry said in a press statement.
The statement added that 46 people had recovered and were discharged from hospitals while 65 others were admitted.
It also indicated that occupancy of the ICU bed capacity has hit 18%, 24%, and 8%, in the northern, central, and southern regions, respectively.
With regard to testing, 14,080 tests were conducted Saturday, 2.16 percent of which were positive, taking the total numbers of tests to 7,314,157 since March. 2020.
