The King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) and the Circassian Charity Society (CCS) Saturday signed a memorandum of cooperation to involve young people in the KAFD's activities and programs aimed to achieving sustainable development, Petra reported.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, KAFD's director, Saeb Al-Hassan, said the Fund's 'qualitative' programs and projects seek to achieve the King's vision in bringing about 'positive' change to societies, stressing keenness to outreach to the target groups through its networking policy.
In turn, CCS's chairman, Ibrahim Farouqa, who signed the the memorandum, said this cooperation focuses on opening 'new' horizons for CCS's members, which would 'directly' reflect on the Circassian community through the various activities implemented by the KAFD, according to Petra.
In a dialogue session held on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, the two sides exchanged ideas that could be carried out in the future, in addition to to highlighting the opportunities offered by the KAFD.
Launched in 2004, KAFD is a civil institution, which eyes to achieving sustainable development in various fields in all governorates countrywide, by implementing development projects and initiatives concerned with supporting entrepreneurship and creativity among Jordanian youth.
