Jordan's ambassador in Baghdad, Montaser Zoubi, discussed with Iraq's Parliament Speaker, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, joint memoranda of understanding (MoU) and agreements already signed by the two countries.
Al-Halbousi discussed with Zoubi bilateral relations, and the importance of activating and implementing MoUs, and commercial, industrial and investment agreements signed between the two countries, according to a press statement issued by Iraqi Parliament on Thursday.
The statement added that discussions also went over maintaining continued coordination and strategic cooperation between Baghdad and Amman to serve common interests.
The meeting also dealt with prospects of Iraqi-Jordanian-Egyptian trilateral cooperation, and the upcoming tripartite summit in Baghdad, said the statement.
