Fair weather in highlands, mercury higher in other regions to Tuesday
Saturday will see a slight drop in temperatures and the weather will be fair in the highlands and plains, and relatively hot in other areas, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Clouds are set to appear today at low altitudes, and the winds will be northwesterly moderate, the JMD noted.
According to the JMD report, Sunday's weather forecast remains stable.
As for Monday, a slight rise on temperatures will take place to record higher- than- their normal rates by about 3-4 Celsius degrees, the JMD bulletin forecast. Meanwhile on Tuesday, mercury is tipped to drop with fair weather forecast almost countrywide, it added.
Also on Saturday, the maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman will range between 28 Celsius degrees, dipping to 18C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a blistering 38C, dropping to 23C during night hours.
