The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), on Thursday dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the JHCO said the convoy comprises 12 trucks carrying medicines, food parcels and COVID-19 vaccines and rapid testing strips.
The convoy comes in implementation of the Royal directives to meet the humanitarian needs in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
JHCO Secretary General Hussein Shibli said this convoy is the fourth to be dispatched by the organization since the start of the recent crisis in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, indicating that the three previously sent convoys included medicine, medical supplies, relief aid along with medical and technical personnel to support the Jordanian military field hospital in Gaza.
