Israeli police arrest two people with knives who crossed from Jordan
Ahmad Al Hamad - Israeli police on Sunday arrested two people armed with knives who they said crossed into the country from Jordan amid unrest in the region, Reuters reported.
A police spokesman said the two suspects had crossed the border overnight and were being questioned by security services.
For their part, Jordan Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that it follows on the case of arresting Jordanians in Israel.
The Jordanian embassy in Tel Aviv is in contact with the Israeli forces to release them.
