A special option has been allocated on the Covid-19 vaccine platform for all employees in the public and private education sector, according to a circular issued by Minister of Education, Muhammad Abu Qudais on Sunday.
The ministry's decision comes in light of the royal directives to grant priority to vaccination for Covid-19 for workers in the education sector, with the aim of securing a safe return to schools at the beginning of the next academic year 2021-2022.
Abu Qudais explained the registration mechanism, which includes logging into the approved online link for the Covid-19 vaccine in Jordan: https://vaccine.jo/cvms, then entering the national number, the date of birth, and the name of governorate.
He added that all workers in the education sector can choose the Ministry of Education from the drop-down list within the work sector, stressing that workers in the directorates' departments must register on the platform for vaccinations to book dates for receiving doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, in order to preserve their safety and health.
