India reports 392,000 daily COVID infections, 3,689 fatalities
More than 392480 COVID-19 infections were recorded in India Sunday, pushing the caseload to some 19.55 million, according to the Delhi News Agency (DNA).
The DNA cited the Health Ministry as saying that COVID-19 killed 3,689 people in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll in the subcontinent to 215,542.
More than 15.9 million people have recovered from the highly contagious respiratory disease so far, the DNA added.
