King calls to find a suitable mechanism to forgive the detainees of “sedition case”

Ahmad AlHamed - His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday called the concerned officials to follow the suitable legal mechanism in a way that “every one of our society who was misled by this sedition” will be released as soon as possible.
This came is His Majesty’s response to the appeal presented to His Majesty by a number of public figures and tribesmen, requesting to forgive their sons who were misled by this sedition. The appeal recalls the Hashemite values of forgiveness and tolerance. This came during a meeting at Hussainiyah Palace attended by Crown Prince Hussain bin Abdullah.
During the meeting, His Majesty King Abdullah said “as a father and brother for all Jordanians and in this holy month the month of forgiveness and tolerance, I call all concerned officials to consider a suitable mechanism that would lead to the release of every one of our society who were misled by sedition and be with their families as soon as possible”.
“What happened was painful, not because there was a great danger on the country. The sedition has been stopped at the early stages. If, However, was not stopped, it could have been difficult on the country. I decided to deal with case softly and you are aware of what has been happened”, His Majesty King Abdullah added.
King Abdullah also added that “my duty and aim is to serve and protect our country and this is the dimension which determined how to deal with everything”.
