The KOICA Alumni Association of Jordan (KAAJ) through the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), on Thursday held an activity to donate food packages to low-income and vulnerable families in the Rakeen area of the southern Al-Karak Governorate.
The donation was made in order to support approximately fifty families by providing food packages, which contain rice, flour, oil, sugar, and other necessary food commodities.
This donation came in alignment with KAAJ’s mission to support the welfare of the marginalized communities, hoping that the food packages will mitigate the hardships of the low-income families in Jordan aggravated by the Pandemic especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
This donation marks the launching of a series of voluntary activities that will be implemented during this year through KAAJ with the purpose of enhancing the livelihood for more Jordanian communities in different directorates.
KOICA Alumni Association of Jordan (KAAJ) was founded in 2008 as a platform for over 800 participants of KOICA training program to sustain and strengthen the close cooperative relationship between Jordan and the Republic of Korea, and KAAJ has organized numerous philanthropic activities for local development in Jordan in cooperation with KOICA Jordan office.
