Australian embassy honours app competition winners from JUST
The Australian embassy in Amman has honoured students of the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) who won a competition to develop applications for mobile devices to promote Australia, according to a statement from the university.
The Faculty of Computer and Information Technology at JUST organised a competition in collaboration with the Australian embassy in Jordan. In this competition the students are asked to submit proposals to develop applications for mobile devices that relates to Australia in different fields.
These fields include history and culture, sports, trade and economy, nature and environment, and science and innovation. In the presence of JUST President Sa’eb Khreisat and Australian Ambassador to Jordan Bernard Lynch, an award ceremony has been held in the Australian embassy, according to the statement.
