17K Covid vaccination appointments set for Sunday, Monday
About 17 thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine will be administered on Sunday and Monday for people above 60 years of age who registered on the national platform; vaccine.jo, during the past two days.
According to the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), a proper mechanism for vaccinating elderly people has been set up under specific criteria, including registering on the platform and receiving a text message with information on when and where to get the vaccine.
'People of the same age group who had a previous appointment for the first dose shall go to the vaccination center specified in the received message to receive the vaccine at any time,' the NCSCM said.
