JU, Georgian Embassy discuss scientific cooperation
President of the University of Jordan (JU), Abdul-Karim Qudah, on Monday met with the Georgian Ambassador to Jordan, Zaza Kandelaki, for a discussion on means of cooperation in the fields of higher education.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation in the academic and cultural fields and the possibility of developing joint academic and research programs, student exchange programs and faculty members between the university and the Georgian higher education institutions.
Qudah highlighted the JU's achievements and its leading position locally and internationally, pointing out to the solid relations between the two friendly countries.
Ambassador Kandelaki, in turn, spoke about efforts to consolidate cooperation and exchange expertise between Jordanian and Georgian universities, especially the University of Tbilisi.
