Agreement signed to launch early childhood development project
The Plan International (IP), the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS) and the National Council for Family Affairs (NCFA) on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to start the implementation of “First steps’ big step” project.
The two-year project is aimed at improving early childhood at the local level via the health sector in addition to supporting the national team of early childhood and its activities in this arena, according to a statement made available to The Jordan Times.
The project will be implemented by the IP, the RHAS, the NCFA and Ideas42, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. The memo is intended to raising awareness and empowering parents and caregivers to be more responsive to their children's developmental needs at this important age.
