Upon Royal directives, new branch of KHCF to be established in Aqaba
In implementation of Royal directives, HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Centre, on Wednesday announced a plan to establish a new branch of KHCF in Aqaba, to be named after His Majesty King Abdullah.
The move portrays His Majesty’s unceasing support to the KHCF’s message, and shows his unlimited support for cancer patients benefiting from the centre, that bears the name of His Majesty the late King Hussein, the princess said. Constructing the new centre is aimed at alleviating the burdens of citizens residing in the southern region by providing care that meets international best practice standards with no need to travel, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
