In a JTB press statement issued on Wednesday, Arabiyat briefed the delegation on the Kingdom's tourism sector, indicating the importance of Ukrainian tourists flocking Jordan.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the JTB are aware of the importance of relations in the tourism field, and their role in increasing tourism promotion for all tourist sites countrywide, showcase religious and archaeological treasures and the Kingdom's 'unique' tourism product, according to Arabiyat.
Noting future steps to ptomote the sector, Arabiyat pointed to plans to provide incentives for low-cost aviation for Ukrainian tourism to the Kingdom through King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, once global health conditions improve and health protocols are approved by the concerned authorities.
