Quartet Club, JEPCO volunteer to support authorities during storm
The Jordanian Quartet Club and the Jordan Electric Power Company (JEPCO) on Wednesday agreed to utilize their capabilities to support the efforts of the Public Security Directorate during the prevailing weather conditions.
In a joint meeting, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Trustees, Senator Hussein Al-Majali, said that they have 240 vehicles fully equipped to handle weather conditions and unfortunate situations, welcoming any volunteers whose vehicles can be of any help to join the Club.
JEPCO’s General Manager, Hassan Abdullah, said the Company has prepared 21 modern machineries and snow sweepers, along with a fleet of 246 vehicles equipped to deal with such weather conditions, noting that emergency teams have been formed in various centers across the Kingdom to provide optimum service to subscribers.
