Civil Service Bureau (CSB) President Sameh Nasser, who is also head of the Steering Committee of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), on Monday met with Canadian Ambassador to Jordan Donica Pottie, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
During the meeting, Nasser reviewed the institute’s plans and work programmes, highlighting the importance of the envoy’s visit towards future cooperation.
The government believes in the role of the institute, established in 1968, a body concerned with building capacity and improving public sector workforce, he said.
Pottie lauded the strategic direction of the IPA in developing leadership skills, sharing Canada’s youth leadership development practices, notably leadership programmes designated for women.
