The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned on Thursday, the attack on a Tunisian army military vehicle while carrying out a sweep for terrorists in western Tunisia that killed four soldiers, when a land mine hit their patrol.
In a press statement, the ministry’s spokesperson, Dhaifallah Fayez, affirmed the Kingdom’s 'strong' condemnation and denouncement of this 'cowardly' terrorist act and its rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at destabilizing security and stability in Tunisia.
The diplomat also affirmed the Kingdom’s 'absolute' support and solidarity with Tunisia in facing terrorism and all its steps to protect its security and its brotherly people.
Fayez expressed his sincere condolences to the Tunisian government, people and the victims' families.
