Real estate trading volume up by 9% during last January
Real estate trade volume has increased, during last January, by 9%, amounting to JD319 million, compared to the same month in 2020, according to the Department of Land and Survey’s (DLS) monthly report.
Last month, DLS revenues soared by 10 per cent, reaching JD13 million, compared with the same month 2020, while the value of apartment exemptions amounted to some JD8 million, showing a 6 per cent increase, the report showed.
Apartment sales during the same month rose by 3 per cent, while sales of parcels of land surged by by 25 per cent, compared with the same period of 2020, the DLS figures revealed.
