Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi and his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif Al-Zayani discussed in a phone call on Monday ways of cementing cooperation between the two kingdoms in the various fields.
The ministers agreed to continue strengthening the close and strategic cooperation between Jordan and Bahrain as directed by His Majesty King Abdullah II and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
They also reviewed regional developments and 'efforts made to promote joint Arab action in facing common challenges and serving Arab interests and issues.'
The two sides also agreed to pursue consultation and coordination on regional issues and efforts to resolve crises and achieve security, stability and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
