Minister of Agriculture, Mohammed Daoudia, has on Sunday directed to revamp all instructions governing import, export and licensing processes, in a manner that guarantees smooth investment services.
In a press statement, the minister also directed quick action to expedite overhauling instructions, overcome all forms of bureaucracy in dealing with investment and facilitate related procedures, aimed to make a positive impact on citizens, farmers, and the Ministry’s affiliated institutions.
To ensure smooth crop freight, the minister stressed the necessity to maintain coordination on all procedures with the Ministry of Transport to facilitate the process of transporting vegetables and fruits at fair prices during the peak period to support exports.
To take further steps, the agriculture and transport ministers decided to hold a joint meeting this week to discuss issues that facilitate the movement of export trucks.
