Employers allowed not to submit social security statement till end of March
Minister of Labor and Minister of State for Investment Affairs, Maan Qatamin, on Thursday decided to exclude employers from submitting a social security statement; required to renew work permits for non-Jordanian workers, until March 31.
In a press release, Qatamin confirmed that the ministry seeks to mitigate the impact of the pandemic on private sector, calling on employers to benefit from this decision and renew the permits of foreign workers to avoid violation of labor law.
