FM and House committee discuss affairs of Jordanian expatriates
The Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Ayman Safadi on Sunday discussed the latest regional developments, mainly the Palestinian cause and the Kingdom's efforts in tackling the issue.
According to MP Mirza Bolad, head of the panel, the meeting was held upon the committee's request to review the level of services that Jordanian missions offer to expatriates, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Safadi said that the priorities of the foreign policy of the Kingdom focus on serving the Jordanian higher interests.
The minister also added that Jordan's stances towards regional crises are based on the fact that they cannot be resolved but through dialogue and political discussions according to international references that aim at ending conflicts and realising security and stability, and meeting the aspirations of the region’s peoples, progress and prosperity.
