New sectors to benefit from SSC’s Estidama program
The Social Security Corporation (SSC) on Monday announced new sectors and establishments to benefit from the Estidama sustainability program.
In a press release, the SSC said new sectors, labelled as hard-hit by the coronavirus pandemic, are distributed as follows: category one; which includes establishments that need license to practice the profession, websites, libraries, stationery sales centers, stationery manufacturing facilities, visa issuance offices, publishing houses, distribution companies, photography studios and film production and distribution companies.
'Category two includes television and radio stations that prove a 40% drop in their 2020 advertising revenues compared to the revenues of 2019,' the SSC added, calling on these facilities to attach the license issued by the General Commission for Audiovisual Media as they submit the e-application.
To expand 'Estidama' services, the SSC said it has decided to include the establishments whose sales have dropped in 2020 by 30%, or more, compared to their sales in 2019.
