At a meeting in Abu Dhabi, King Abdullah and Sheikh Mohamed stressed the need to maintain coordination and consultation on issues of mutual concern, while bolstering cooperation across all sectors, according to a Royal Court statement.
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed His Majesty and expressed the UAE’s keenness to advance and expand bilateral ties, in support of joint aspirations towards further development and progress, it said.
The meeting covered the latest Arab and regional developments, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause and means to achieve peace in the region.
The King stressed the importance of reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian cause, on the basis of the two-state solution.
