Health ministry urges citizens to adhere to the vaccination schedule
The Ministry of Health has called on citizens to adhere to the date and place set to receive the Covid-19 vaccine without delay, per the text message sent to eligible beneficiaries.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the ministry's Assistant Secretary-General for Primary Health Care Affairs, Dr. Ghazi Sharkas, said the citizens' commitment to show up on the schedule 'remarkably' contributes to organizing the immunizations, reducing burdens on health personnel and expediting services to the public and the elderly.
Sharkas also urged citizens to register on the announced gov't website to receive the vaccine, and attend according to the date set to 'prevent confusion.'
The Covid-19 vaccination schedule takes into account the time and place in the Kingdom's various regions to avoid overcrowding, according to Sharkas.
