JEA refers employee to attorney general for alleged embezzlement
The council of the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) decided to refer an employee to the attorney general for suspected embezzlement.
JEA, in a statement, said that the employee has admitted to an investigation committee that was formed by the association to embezzling JD8,000 through transfers among internal accounts, while the JEA managed to stop depositing cheques worth JD7,000 to his account.
The association said that its internal audit department had a role in discovering the violations of the employee.
