The Lower House of Parliament on Thursday welcomed the reconciliation between member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and said the recent GCC summit in Saudi Arabia 'brought brotherly relations between GCC countries back to normal'.
'The GCC summit revived hopes for a more convergent future and fraternal cooperation between our Arab countries, in a way that realizes our hopes for pan-Arab solidarity, which the Arab peoples aspire to, serves common national interests, and strengthens cooperation that preserves the security and stability of our Arab countries, their strength, prosperity and progress,' according to a Lower House statement.
