Speaking during the inaugural session, Secretary General of the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Khawaldeh, stressed the importance of partnership and cooperation between civil society organizations and government institutions to empower women in political life.
For her part, the forum's director in Jordan, Tala Khreis, lauded the Kingdom's efforts being made towards progress and sustainable development, increased participation in the economic sphere, despite Covid-19 negative impact on the economy and women's contribution to combating violence by stiffening penalties on perpetrators.
