Minister of Education, Tayseer Nuaimi, on Sunday unveiled the logo of the centennial of the establishment of the Jordanian stat, marking the start of celebrations of the ministry and all education directorates on this occasion.
In a speech delivered at the ceremony, Nuaimi described as 'dear to the hearts of all Jordanians' this occasion.
'On this occasion, we feel proud that the image of Jordan has been formed among countries of the world and their leaders; a modern, developed, advanced, Hashemite, Arab state of moderate political and social environment, which has relations of mutual respect and common interests with everyone, thanks to the wise policy of highlighting the bright image of Jordan and its leadership, and to the genuine Arab stances from the Hashemite Kings of Jordan, starting with His Majesty King Abdullah I 'the Founder', and after him His Majesty King Talal, 'the Maker of the Constitution' and King Hussein Bin Talal 'the Builder', up to leader of the renaissance the 'Promoter' His Majesty King Abdullah II,' Nuaimi added.
Nuaimi explained that the educational system has made great achievements during this blessed march, indicating that Jordan is a state of institutions and law. It is the first country in the region to guarantee the right to education, through the Education Act, which was issued in 1928, as the education has made quantum leaps, starting with a few number of schools, to currently reach nearly 9,000 schools.
The minister re-expressed his pride in all the members of the educational ecosystem, and the great role that the Jordanian teacher plays in building the nation, lauding their sincere efforts and tireless endeavor to provide the best for new generations and enable them to have modern tools to overcome all challenges and difficulties.
