Jordan welcomes Riyadh Agreement implementation, formation of Yemeni new government
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has welcomed on Saturday, implementation of the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement by the legitimate Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council (STC), announcement of a political competencies' government and end of military arrangements.
In a press statement, the ministry’s spokesperson, Dhaifallah Fayez, expressed the Kingdom’s appreciation to the efforts made by all parties and prioritizing Yemen's national interest, as well as the Saudi Arabia's endeavors in sponsoring implementation of the Riyadh Agreement's provisions.
Fayez also expressed hope that this step would contribute to reaching a comprehensive settlement that ends the Yemeni crisis, achieves security, stability and peace, and meets aspirations of the brotherly Yemeni people for growth and prosperity.
