Sources said that 13 members of House of Representatives and 4 members of the Senate will not attend the opening Parliament's 19th extraordinary session due to COVID-19 infection.
Secretary General of the Senate, Ali Al-zyood, said previously that opening session will be attended by the members of the Senate and House of Representatives in addition to the cabinet members of the government.
A number of measures are taken including the commitment to wear face masks and social distancing in addition to conducting COVID-19 tests before attending the session, he added.
