Khasawneh instructs completion of Epidemics Center's administrative requirements
Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Khasawneh, has instructed concerned authorities to expedite completion of all administrative and organizational requirements needed to assume operations of the National Center for Epidemics and Communicable Diseases Control quickly.
Chairing a Cabinet session on Wednesday, Khasawneh stressed the need to harness all the capabilities required to the center's work to contribute to enhancing national competencies to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic, or any similar future challenge.
A Royal decree was issued two weeks ago approving the center’s bylaw, which was published in the Official Gazette.
