Alhayajneh: unexpected new wave of COVID-19 may hit during winter
The Secretary General of Health ministry for epidemiological affairs, Dr Wa'el Alhayajneh said that unexpected new wave of COVID-19 may hit during winter.
The next few weeks will provide answers whether there will be a new wave of COVID-19 or not, he said.
Stability of epidemiological curve means that daily numbers of COVID-19 infections are almost equal, indicating that people have to adhere to wearing face masks, social distancing and avoidance of gatherings, he added.
Although there is stability in epidemiological curve, however more caution is required, he added.
