Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Monday, Inveighed against the Israeli authorities' demolition of the stairs leading into the Al-Yusufiya cemetery in occupied East Jerusalem.
Daifallah Fayez, the spokesperson of the Ministry, stated that the Kingdom refuses Israel's unilateral measures in occupied East Jerusalem, as they aimed at changing the city's Arab identity, in a flagrant violation to the international law and the resolutions of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
Fayez demanded Israel to honor its commitments as the occupying power in occupied East Jerusalem and to stop committing violations to new realities. He warned against tampering with the identity of the holy city and trying to change its historical landmarks.
