Minister of Labor and Minister of State for Investment Affairs, Ma'an Qatamin, has decided to extend the expatriation period granted to stranded Egyptian workers to Jordan by 8 days.
The decision covers Egyptian expats, who have were on leave before March 10, and whose work permits have expired, announced the minister.
In a press statement issued on Thursday, the expatriation period extension was made, taking into account the Jordanian employers' conditions, to ensure the continued operations of their businesses.
