The Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh Monday issued Defense Order No. 23, authorizing the Minister of Health, Nathir Obeidat, to take possession of any hospital, in whole or in part, and its contents, and allowing him to instruct its administration and its workers to continue operations to receive coronavirus cases.
Any violations of Defense Order No. 23 will be punishable with imprisonment for a period ranging from three months to three years.
